About The Barn
http://barntheater.porterville.com/
Originally the brainchild of Peter Tewksbury, who became well known in Hollywood as a director and actor, this place, was originally a barn that belonged to a dramatic arts supporter, Annie Smith in 1948. The newer building (with part of the original barn) was built on the present site in 1952. It has seen its share of thespians that practically lived at the theater, a labor of love full of rehearsals, set preparation, prop creating, dressmaking, dinners and sharing life. A couple of famous people have had early careers at the Barn, Ann B. Davis (Alice) of the Brady Bunch series and Richard Duncan (Dick Van Dyke Show). Many of the actors and actresses have passed on, but their spirits are believed to remain…eagerly awaiting applause and the last curtain call. Reported activity is the sensation of an audience in an empty theater, clapping, laughter and shadows. PGS has evidence that supports those claims.

Reported Experiences
The Barn Theater is still operating today, putting on plays and giving locals the chance to act on stage. Many of the actors and actresses have passed on, but their spirits are believed to hang about…eagerly awaiting applause and perhaps the last curtain call. Reported activity is the sensation of an audience in an empty theater, clapping, laughter and shadows. PGS is currently investigating and appreciating the hospitality of Barn Theater members.

Floating Light At Barn
This video shows a light that is originating from a wooden, antique wheelchair on the stage. It moves up toward the ceiling and blinks brighter and bigger. Bruno had just finished talking about his friend Dick Newman, thespian at the Barn Theater and how he performed an entire play from the chair and gave a very moving performance. The name of the play was "The Last Meeting of the Knights of the White Magnolia".
